I was a little late getting on board with "The Elf On The Shelf" this year, but only by a week or so. My cousin told my about this little bugger and said that it's miracle worker for bad behavior around the holidays. The whole story is that the elf (ours is named Steve) comes to stay at your home right after Thanksgiving (like the night of or the night after), and he flys back to the North Pole each night to report to Santa on how well your child is behaving until the night before Christmas. When he returns before morning, he finds a new spot to sit and observe (Steve was kinda lazy a couple of nights and sat in the same spot as the night before). It's a great immediate behavioral adjustment! "Remember, Steve's watching; he'll tell Santa that you're acting ugly, and you won't get any presents!" AMAZING!! You can register your elf and name him whatever, but for some reason, Braeden wanted him to be named "Steve".
The Police Department kindly hosted a kids Christmas party that was super lame, but at least there was a Santa, and he got to hear all about Transformers!
We decided to dress Braeden all up for Christmas Eve at Brad's mom's house. Sorry no additional pictures about present opening. It wasn't all that eventful. We also forgot to take pictures of present opening on Christmas morning, but we did get it on video. I just need to figure out how to edit and add it.
