As some of you may know, the Museum of the Southwest has a great Christmas exhibit at the end of November and throughout December. This setting usually makes for great photo moments, especially in the staircase with the beautiful arm railing. However, not so much for this year. They had a Santa, but Braeden didn't want to have ANYTHING to do with him unless he was watching him from the opposite side of the room. Which was conveniently where the Hallmark tree was with all of the Pixar ornaments. Yeah, great fun when trying to get your 2 year old to leave Monster's Inc. alone and to try and move it along. Keep in mind, still trying to get that perfect picture. Finally I pry him away (kicking and screaming) and we move on into the Gingerbread house area, all he wanted to do was eat the people. we finally get him to the staircase and it became a gladiator challenge to get him to sit still instead of running up the stairs and sliding his butt down them. I gave up! I ended up getting some decent pictures of him at home. Maybe better luck next year with the staircase.
